The Sphere of Ingar has been destroyed and pure magic now flows freely throughout the land of Uton. Magic casters arise as do the dark creatures that need magic to exist in this realm. As the land changes and its inhabitants adapt, a growing wind of rebellion leads to potential disaster for all the races. The dwarf queen Yave declares war on the algors, blaming the desert dwellers for the tragedy which took the life of her eldest son. She leads a revolution against what remains of her own family. Dwarf separatists eager to assert their own superiority follow blindly as she begins her quest for revenge.
Ryson Acumen, the pure bred delver who saved the land from Ingar's sphere, attempts to intervene. In response, human towns are attacked by the dwarf army of Dunop. Raids against the elves lead to escalated tensions. Even as the algors plan a response to protect their very existence, the elves threaten to unleash their own weapon of sheer terror against the dwarf city. The overriding need that brought the races together to defeat Ingar is gone as Uton fractures into chaos.

My brain is still tingling! I can hardly wait to delve into the next book of Delver Magic! I salute you, Mr. Inlo!
I'm a bit late reviewing this as I've read the entire series already and therefor don't have the freshest memories. Due to that I can't go into details but can say that the entire series was wonderful. All five books are exceptionally well written, having characters you'll find yourself caring about and each plot has its fair share of action and intrigue. I would recommend them all.
I liked the first book and gave it four stars, but loved the second book. The dwarf wars was full a good way to ramp up the action that I felt was missing in the first book. Although I like the Delver character, I wonder how long he can maintain his "all life is precious" attitude when they are in a constant state of conflict with darker beings trying to eat or kill you. Nevertheless, it was a good story that will lead me to read the rest of the series.
A nice set of new twist and turns on fantasy. Yes, there is the good and evil plot as usual, but with the author's use of original creatures and new perspectives on some well known fantasy characters such as elves, dwarfs, and goblins combined with magic, strong friendships and a deep belief in right and wrong, this second of three books expands the story without becoming "long in the tooth".
Just finished reading the third and final book of Delver Magic. Thoroughly enjoyed all three. I look forward to reading more by Jeff Inlo....
I see complaints about typos and proof reading, and, while there were some errors, found that it did not make the books any less readable or enjoyable.
Loved the delver, loved the elves, the magicians, the dwarfs, the goblins, the serp, the river rogues, well, you get it, ALL the magical creatures.......I even thought the humans were ok! The interaction between all the "species" was great. Definitely a story well told! Thanks Jeff!!
I am an avid sci fi and fantasy reader and having just gotten my kindle I am enjoying the free downloads at . I read all 3 of the Delver books and really think they should be read in order. I read them pretty quickly and enjoyed the story, premise and characters. the Delver character could have been fleshed out more, like what happened to his parents, family, and or relatives. The only real surprise happened in the third book, kudos to jeff Inlo. If you are looking for a light read its good, I skipped over the predictable parts and never lost my interest in the story. So I would recommend all 3, after you read the first book it does set you up to finish the series. Enjoyable to the end.
Jeff Inlo followed up Delver Magic Book I Sanctum's Breach with a fabulous sequel. Most of my favorite characters showed up again to support Ryson Acumen Lief Woodson, Holli, and Sy. There were new characters, like Enin, this incredibly powerful wizard. There were also new villains. While Throne of Vengeance shows the power of anger and vengeance to wreak havoc and destruction, it also shows how people, elves and other creatures can rise above their self-perceived limitations. The elf elder tweaked my emotions as he showed how devastating the actions of a weak leader can be. Best of all, Ryson with his the Sword of Decree saved a town from horrifying destruction. I found this book suspenseful and captivating. It was hard to put down.
